“Changing Our Minds- the Key to Regeneration”

Einstein said, “The significant problems of today cannot be solved with the same thinking that created them.” What kind of thinking is needed and how do we build the mind to think in that way? Through real examples we will explore this question through the lens of Patterns and Permaculture.

Sirius Community is a sustainability demonstration center that models a cooperative and ecologically based lifestyle; with organic permaculture gardening, attunement to nature, and natural / energy- efficient building. It is located just 15 minutes from Amherst and a big part of their overall mission is to honor each person and see everyday life as our spiritual teacher

Joel Glanzberg is an educator in the fields of permaculture and ecological restoration and has taught throughout the United States and South America. A principal with Regenesis Group, his background includes 25 years of watershed management, environmental restoration, habitat design, regenerative agriculture, public education, and consultation to individuals, organizations, and governments.  His early Permaculture work is documented in the books Gaia’s Garden, A People’s Ecology, and Rainwater Harvesting for Drylands. www.regenesisgroup.com
